Cut off the factory tubing and replace with 5/16" fuel hose and efi clamps, takes about 2ft. or so.
The factory tubing has an outer jacket and inner clear plastic, I snipped it with dikes and slit the ends on the barbs with a razor.

Just did this myself. Works fine.

 

ok just did it just a little tip for the next guy when trying to remove the inner plastic just heat it up with a lighter and it will pull right off.

 

Very important not to overlook making sure all fuel and fuel vapors are out of the rails before adding flames to the procedure.

 

HAHAHA! I love it! PLEASE DO NOT use a lighter EVER while working on your fuel system.

Use SAE30R9 rated hose and smooth clamps (not your typical multi-slotted clamp) for this application....NAPA carries both.

 

ya all fuel was out of the rails and im talking alittle heat like 5sec worth not a big deal.

 

There was a local guy who blew up a honda service department when he tried to check the level of a 55 gallon drum with a lighter, i bet it worked 99 out of 100 times, but its always that one time thatll getcha. Keep the flames away from the fuel system stuff, it wont save enough time to be worth the risk.

 

the rails where off the car and dry i guess i shoulda specified that first but i assumed that would be a given.......so dont do this with the fuel system pressurized or full of fuel ........otherwise its a joke.

 

Advance or Autozone has (or at least at my store) Goodyear FI hose that has a teflon liner inside (the liner is blue). It's great hose for this. I used it with some barb fittings to connect my rails supply and return hoses to the hard lines from the tank. Works great and definitly use the fuel hose clamps that don't dig into the hose itself. If you don't use this particular one make sure you get hose rated for fuel injection and not just regular hose.
