I just picked up a set of Mach 1 wheels for dirt cheap to put on my Stang. My car, however, is not yet converted to 5 lug. I know there are several ways to covert to 5 lug but right now money is an issue. I see that with these wheels I'll need SN-95 front spindles and hubs, but with the offset of the Mach 1 wheels should I use 94-95 or 96+? With the rear, keeping the Mach 1 wheel offset and width in mind, should I use the left side Ranger/ right side Aerostar axles, 94-98 Mustang axles, or 99+ Mustang axles? Also, I don't want the rear track to be obviously wider than the front. Thanks for the help.

Guys, I've done the search's and I've read all of Matt90GT's and other websites. I know what I can use. I'm asking basically which length axles and which spindles to use in aspect of how they will look with mach 1 wheels on my fox.

Did I ask a question about the wheels? I don't believe so. I'm asking which axles and front spindles will be best to use. Will the wheels sit too far in when using ranger/aerostar axles since they are not made to be intentionally used with this wheel? Will the other axles sit out too far since they are not made for this car? Da**it why can I never get a straight answer?

SO what are you not asking about the wheels that is not different than any other 17x8 Sn95 wheel not covered under "search" of the general board?

This just gets old. Same question, different day. no matter how many different ways you ask it, the answer is the same.

Look, all I'm wanting is a stock looking track width in the front and rear of my car. Matt90GT - I still don't see my asking anything about the wheels themselves. I'm asking would will work best WITH these wheels.

So how bout I simplify things for everyone and we can take a multiple choice test.

Question 1.
Which axles to keep a stock looking track width?
A. Ranger/ Aerostar axles
B. 94-98 Mustang axles
C. 99+ Mustang axles

Question 2.
Which year spindle/ hub assemblies to keep a stock looking track width?
A. 94-95 Mustang
B. 96+ Mustang

Please make your selection now and stop argueing.

 this is the equivalent of going to the prof with the textbook and an open-book test in your hand and saying "STFU and answer these questions for me!!!"

Ranger/Aerostar axles

94-95 Spindles

That will keep you closest to stock track width.

The Mach 1 wheels have the same backspacing as all the 17 X 8" factory Ford Mustang wheels.
