$$ Forged 302 Dome Pistons

I have for sale a set of new in the box Diamond Forged 302 Pistons. They have a 12.35cc effective dome (subtract ring lands for a 9.35cc effective dome). They come with .927 pins, spirolox, and a full set of Mahle plasma moly piston rings. These pistons have a 1.6" Compression height, and are for a 4.030" bore (.030" over). They may also be used, in conjunction with 351W length rods and a 3.85" stroke crank to make a 393ci 351W stroker, or, with 6.125" rods...with a stock stroke 351W. They should also work with a 289 crank and rods to make a higher compression 289.

Typical compression ratio's with these pistons, and a standard 60cc cylinder head, .039" compressed gasket, and zero deck:

289 - 11.3:1
302 - 11.77:1
393 - 14.77:1

Typical compression ratio's with these pistons, and a 64cc cylinder head, .039" compressed gasket, and zero deck:

289 - 10.65:1
302 - 11.08
393 - 13.9:1

These look to be awesome pistons, and the only reason I'm not running them is the heads Jay and I have chosen will require a flat top piston, and I'm needing the money to fund another project. They run over 600$ new.

Here is a picture:

Price is 400$ plus shipping.

In slightly less than a month, I will have Crower Sportsman rods to add to this, and right now I have a 255ci crank.

Make me a reasonable offer on the package...it'll make for a screaming small block =).

Wierd, it didn't email me telling me you'd replied.

Anyhow, sorry for the delay.

Standard 302 length rods work. 5.09". Keep in mind, they will need to be bushed for a .927" pin. Stock ford is .912". Any machine shop should be able to do this to stock rods (stock would need bushed for floating pins anyhow). Or, I can get you an incredibly good deal on a set of forged Probe rods that will fit. Let me know and I'll see on the price.
