Ok, here's the lowdown:
94 Cobra w/complete 95 Cobra R drivetrain. Only mods are extrude Honed intake, 97 truck mass air meter, 75mm TB and modified Cobra R computer (you'll see that it's modified by the A/F ratio)...Bone stock, these cars were rated at 300hp @ 4800rpm & 365lbs./ft. @ 3750rpm.(flywheel #'s)....Don't forget I have A/C and the car is fully equipped, so lot's more weight:
You can see the A/F ratio sits at 14.5 or so...I know it's optimum where it's at, but everyone feels it's safer to run it around 13.4 or so..but the computer is programmed to peg 14.5 and it's doing it's job....really happy with the #'s considering the cam that Ford uses and the heads are stock GT40's....The 2nd time was pretty consistent:
Now, the 3rd time I shot the Zex kit (125jet) and it was at an A/F of 13...that's pretty lean and I think the HP # reflects it...I barely got 50 hp out of it with a 125 jet...so I'm going to rejet the fuel side and get it to run a little bit richer and see what happens next time...but the big surprise was the torque #. We measured at 477 and the tires actually spun on the dyno barrells...(315 tires on too!)...so he estimated that the torque would be around 490 if it hadn't lost traction....unbelievable # on the torque. Anyway, here it is:
Anyway, I'm open to comments and to hear what you guys think. Sitting in the garage is a Crower 15512 cam that I'm going to use with my 1.7 rockers...than after Christmas, I'm going to put on some heads, either AFR 185's or TW....
Sorry if I don't reply to any messages today, but I'll be at a wedding from 12pm until probably 11pm...
