i have a question concerning our fans.... mine likes to work when it feels like it... lately it's been turning off on me when i'm crusing... i have it on a bypass switch so i can turn it on and off when ever i want...well lately the only way to turn it on is if u slam the hood shut.... nowi already checked the wiring and it's all good... had to fix a wire but it still presists.... my question is, does any body make anaftermarket fan for our cars??? if so who and were and how much???? is it worth to get an aftermarket mone or is the stock one suffecient???? if i stick with the stock one were is the best place to to get one and for how much???? please help...

My cooling fan motor went out too. So I went to autozone and got a new one for $56.00, but when i got it home it didnt match the original motor ........ the only diff is the bar that comes out of the motor to turn the fan. my original motor has a pin 3/4 of of the way down to turn the fan. the one that i just bought from autozone had a shorter bar and it was flat on two sides with no pin.
I went back up to A.Z. and they said that i needed a diff fan motor to match the fan??? and it costs $84.00 but theyd have to ship it and I could get it tomarow
has anyone else had this problem?
