you sure about the clutchless part?i have never seen a 4+1 that was full clutchless.if it's not clutchless i would like to talk to you about it.phone number?
I have a Hipster T400 with a trans brake and Reverse manual valvebody. This is the same trans the 1400 hp guys ran in super street 10 wide classes before they swapped to glides. The speedo is setup for a 3.42 gear with 26" tires right now, easily changable.
It also has a 10" Niel Chance bolt together torque converter that stalls about 2500-3000 rpm. Will brake much higher. It can easily come apart on the work bench to swap plates if a different stall in wanted.
The so called "cluthless" ones have no syncros and the dogs on the gears are wider and the sliders groves are as well to that there is less resistance in shifting. When I got mine it was from a guy with a small block car who shifted with no clutch. I put it in my big block car and could not get it back into gear without taping the clutch. I called Nash, this was years ago, and they told me that with the torque of the big block I would have to use the clutch. All in all it was the neatest trans I ever had. With the Long shifter it is all that and a bag of chips. You can forget downshifting but the next big block car I have will get one of them for sure. Good luck with the sale of one cool trans
I have a complete PA super comp c4 setup , 4500 stall , sfi bell , hurst quart stick pistol grip shifter , trans brake , big tranny cooler , and lines . Let me know if you are interested . Thanks
