i just got a good deal on a 95 5.0 motor and was wondering whats needs to be changed to drop it into my 91 notchback. i know the accessories, intake, and wiring but what else if there is anything?

It sounds like you just want to know what you need to do to drop it in?

You'll want to put your fox intake, fox wiring, and fox throttle cables but I don't see why you'd be forced to change anything else. I think the 94/95 accessories are done better than the fox setup. I would keep all that like it is.

Just a race motor... Yup just drop the block in with the 95 accessories on it.

Use your fox wiring harness, throttle body (and egr spacer if you run one), and throttle cable.

You'll need to do the wiring portion of a 3g swap, gravy to do.

Get a 94/95 upper radiator hose.

everything else fox.

On a street car you'd need to carry over the 95 A/C pressure lines and possibly the condenser too.

Put new engine on an engine stand. Pull your old motor out, and swap over everything that is different.

That's how I do junkyard engine motor swap jobs.
