I know the '03-04 cobra trans won't work w/ out a special spacer plate, but what about the D&D T-56 kit?

Would it work w/ a bellhousing swap? Or is there a big difference there too? I compared their two pics, and that looks like the only difference, but a pic only shows you so much.

I know I'd still need the crossmember and d/shaft, but that's no big deal.

Looks like I'd need the mid plate too?

I would assume it's hard to come across just this stuff for a good price, but the trans is pretty cheap.

Anything special to changing the mid plate?

which d&d t56 kit are we talking about? is it meant for your year of car? or are we still talking about the possibility of the cobra t56 with the conversion kit from d&d that includes the xmember and d/s? if so you will have to figure out how to let the speedometer read digital inputs because that is what the cobra t56 uses instead of a little gear. let us know.

If you do not have the transmission just buy one that is for the 302/351w block. It will have the correct bell housing and speedo sender.

Or call Joe at D&D and ask him. 248-735-6220 they are very helpfull.
