Good evening everyone,

I am looking for some help I possibly purchasing a 93 mustang lx. Previous owner did not have the hood latched and the hood opened up while going 40/50mph. I’m trying to find a replacement cowl panel and stock hood.

That is the only way I'll do it, the right way...I'm going to purchase today. I look forward to posting updates when I get rolling. The engine is a 347 eagle rotating assembly with forged internals, TF heads, custom grind cam matched for this setup in front of a TKO, and has a lot of suspension upgrades, full weld in frame rails and jacking rails. I haven't driven one in a few years since I sold my 85, this one would smoke my 85. I look forward to posting updates as progress is made. Thank you all for your help, have a great week and stay safe!

This should give you an idea on the extend of the work to replace the cowl. If you are DIY, it would be a project. If you are paying someone, you might have a problem finding a shop to actually do it, as it's a big job and a lot of typical body shops just want to deal with insurance company repairs, vs restoration type work.
