Hey guys, i had to put a new top and frame, so i had to disconnect the lines and i lost all the fluid. how do you fill it and do you need any special tools or techniques ??
Hey guys, i had to put a new top and frame, so i had to disconnect the lines and i lost all the fluid. how do you fill it and do you need any special tools or techniques ??
There's a rubber fill plug on the side of the resevoir (arrow). Pop that out and fill it up. It can be accessed by removing the back seat or the panel inside the trunk.
Make sure you fill it until it's about at the top and cycle the top and down a few times to bleed all of the air out. Then fill it the rest of the way up until it trickles out and put the plug in. One of my cylinders leaked once. I didn't bleed all of the air out when I fixed it and it burnt the motor up over time.
Is there an easy way to put that rubber plug back in?
