So I finally finished installing my MM coilovers yesterday. The transformation is amazing. 400 lb front springs Bilstein Struts front, 575 lb Bilstein IRS Shocks out back. Sorry for the pic size.

I run 175 lbs and they are pretty compliant. I was considering stepping to 225 lbs, but 400 lbs?

Okay, and this is for fun so take no offense, just for me to correct your "firm but not harsh" assessment of the ride quality to something I can relate to:

Are you under 25? If so, you mean to say it rides like a brick on solid rubber tires to a 35-40 year old?

Will it make me bite my tongue off if I'm chewing gum and hit an unexpected bump in the road, say something like a crushed 12oz tin can?

Will it catch air going over a road reflector?

Younger guys always seem to be able to tolerate a lot more noise and harshness.

I am creeping up on 30, and it takes crushed 12 oz cans very well. I think some of it has to do with the struts, too. My stock struts were still good, but they felt mushy over certain kinds of swells in the road. I have an IRS in the back and had Cobra springs at all 4 corners but I had the Sport bilsein shocks in the back and that made a noticable difference in ride quality by itself. Then i did the coilovers in the back last weekend and there wasn't a lot of difference in hardness over bumps between the factory spring/Bilstein combo vs the coilovers. The coilovers just seem to ride...smoother, maybe? I also am not really a drag racer, so maybe the softer coils would be better for that.
