It's not port injection but looks really slick!

I am considering it over my previous induction ideas.

 

Stupid question here, can't you just find a singe plane lower intake that is tapped for the injectors, a 4 barrel efi throttle body, throttle cable, etc... get it tuned/chipped, and have success?

Edelbrock has single plane intakes made for efi available. A 4 barrel tb is the way to go but you wont do it with a factory computer. Will need something like holley efi to get it done. A cheaper route is to use an intake elbow to keep your factory system.

 

I know, it seems like this intake set up has almost unlimited potential, and can work for a street cruiser or an all out drag car it seems, thats what I like about it, not to mention it looks awesome.

I guess thats where I get lost, having to have a holley efi to get it done. I'm not a tuner but it seems like if you can manipulate a factory system with chips, etc.... then you would be able to pull it off.

 

I just ordered the FITech power adder system this week. It arrived yesterday and looks like a well built kit. I'm hoping to have it installed by the end of the year along with my new engine.

 

I am about to do the same thing. I'm concerned as my custom cam was for an individual runner intake with 8 throttle bodies and now I might run the fitech dual quad. Not sure if I should have a different cam ground.

As far a those fitech kits, it seems by the time you pay the $995, and have to buy an intake, different throttle cable, whatever else, your nearing or exceeding the $1500 mark, not to mention if you purchase on of the fuel delivery packages, then your approaching the 2k mark. They are cheaper than every other kit i've seen though, I had never heard of them until yall posted about them. thanks for the info!

 

Well if you are looking for the cheapest then going with this would be cheaper..

Now the intake and TB are Chinese knock offs so the quality is hit or miss but you did say cheapest..

You could always do a super victor EFI and a Accel TB along with the megasquirt and still be somewhat reasonable in cost.
