You can have your current tranny rebuilt to handle the power or go with one from companies like B&M or TCI. I think something else to look into is a converter with an anti-ballooning plate. I've heard that the converter can balloon when using nitrous.

Does your current tranny have a shift kit or anything?

How much RWHP do you run without the juice?

 

not the best idea to build a 65-66 cruisomatic. the performance parts for the c4 are designed around the 70 and up c4. The converter will then be the weak point so have it built for heavy nitrous.

 

I have a 3500-4000 RPM TCS Stall for a c4 with anti balloning plate and furnace blazen fins if your interested. Used it in my 69 for a couple months but im gonna go with a OD tranny now cuz im tired of swapping diff ratios every race weekend.
