Best way to adhere stainless steel lettering?

I just received my stainless steel lettering for the bumper of my '93. They look great, but I was expecting them to have some kind of double sided sticky tape or something on one side so I could afix it to the car - there's nothing on either side. I want something permanent (or quasi permanent) so the letters don't come off. Any ideas?

Thanks,
William

I'd say some sort of epoxy. On my motorcycle I used two ton epoxy to attach two reflectors. It held at speeds up to 100mph and was only attached at four points about 1/8 inch. It comes in a double barrel tube. When you push the plunger the two different parts come out and you mix them together. It has a fairly short useable time before it sets, so you have to work quick. If you smear it on the back of each letter then I'd bet it will be permanent. I'd try it in an inconspicuous spot first to see if it will take off the paint first.

Pls don't use any epoxy or other "glue" on your car. Get some 3M double sided tape from autozone and cut tape to match your letters....got my rear stainless bumber decals from UPR and they came w/3M tape. Works great and lasts. Did that almost 1.5 years ago, no problems.

JB WELD and DUCK TAPE of course.... they will never fall off
