I had M-6051-B51's (HG) installed, when i freshened the top end i found that the B51's were discontinued. I installed M-6051-CP331's.

At this time i also slapped a Parker Funnel Web on... I've been fighting a water in oil problem since. I've resealed the intake once already.

I'm going to buy another Super Victor... (silly mistake giving that last one away) and install new head gaskets.

As stated, the block is a 0-ringed r302; should I go with the M-5051-C51 or use the CP331? FRPP states that the B51 was replaced with the C51...

Plugs look good, not water in combustion chamber, held 20psi on the cooling system for a few days with little to no leaks.

Thanks!

we'e ran copper on the old nitrous motor for years and never had an issue. but we ran orange RTV around the water ports then ran "alumaseal" in the water system.

I fought water leaks in mine for a year. I tried everything.

I had the o-rings machined out and changed to a MLS and never had a single problem.

Quick update!

drained the coolant, vacuumed the coolant from the intake/heads and pulled intake quick. Found that the front and rear coolant ports where leaking down the intake to the bottom of the intake. It was really bad on the rear passenger port. (see Pic) Gonna go with Right Stuff this time... and see if it'll seal.

I'm going to go back with the 1262s-3 intake manifold gasket and i've swapped back to a Super Victor 8.2.
