stock exhaust is 2.25" with 3" tips

 

well im planning on getting MAGNAPACKS and arent they 2.5"...so they will fit or not???...

 

Are you planning on getting the Mangapack cat-back or welding in just the mufflers?

 

planning on getting the catback...i was told that the mufflers will probably need to be spot welded on?....

 

I haven't measured them but I had the Magnapacks installed with the stock H-pipe so from that I conclude the stock H-pipe is 2.5" 'cause they welded it directly to the Magnapacks and everything fit perfect. I did measure the tips and they are 3" like mustangdreamer said. I can send you a pic if you want. Just gimme your e-mail addy.

I don't think the muffler has to be spot welded on...I have the magnaflows catback and there are stainless steal clamps that connect the muffler (in your case glasspack) to the tailpipe and another clamp to a small section of pipe before the midpipe. If you do spot weld them that would be better in the long run I guess.

 

yea i was told just now that the stock h is 2.25" and the catback is 2.5" but u can mix/match 2.25 and 2.5 no problem...
