I'm still running the 3.73s that I had with my AOD. Crosses the line about 5500 or so with 26" slicks. 70mph, about 3k rpm or so.

 

one of my friends has a 89 Hatch that he put a c-4 in. He had 2.73 in there and it was 0k. put in 3.73's now the car gets like 7 mpg on the freeway. If you are going to use the car for any kind of daily driving at all i would not go higher than a 3.27. His car only runs quick in the eight mile be cause the car tops out before he can trip the lights in the quarter. street races are real fun though. that thing leaves off the line fast as hell. It tops out a 110 though.

I have 3.27's in my Cougar, and with 205/70/15's I turn right at 3000rpm at 70mph and 2500 at 60. With the old 2.73's it turned 2000rpm at 60mph.

 

C4 and 4.10s = about 3000rpm at 65mph. Oil consumption is crazy too on an older car.
