so after a couple weeks of reading, debating, researching.. i decided on a megasquirt PNP for my 95 mustang. almost went with quarterhorse at first, didn't like it with my plans for boost. considered running a pms again, but it's outdated and didn't do everything i wanted.

so i wrapped up my h/c/i install, hooked up the megasquirt, tied in the lc-1 and fired it up. i had to pull a TON of fuel out because of my 42lb injectors. but once i got that down, it idled. i confirmed the timing (have a slight issue with that), modified the fuel table to get it close, unplugged the iac for now and hit autotune. bam.... within a min it had a nice 14.2:1 idle, fans turned on as programmed and revs cleaner and cleaner everytime i hit the throttle.

i couldn't be happier right now. the reading paid off thanks to you guys, the megamanual, and a couple intuative videos on youtube. i have a slight valve tick which i attribute to a loose adjustment. so gotta fix that, adjust my bumpsteer setting and get this thing on the ground.

95 GT
stock shortblock
twisted wedge 170's
victor efi intake
custom Bullet cam
1.6 rr
longtubes
tremec
huge fuel system

car is way over done from original goal. has a 10pt moly cage, mini tubbed, fuel cell, thru floor subframes, full team z suspension front and back, etc.

looking forward to ironing out the kinks and hitting the track. i'll be putting a turbo on it next year sometime.

looks very nice!!!! if you havent went to accel enrichment tables yet, i would go and write down the current number and cut them in half, as they are for the stk 19's and the 42's will really make you go rich on tip in or accel.. also keep a eye on that water temp and on high rpm also, doesnt look like you have much belt wrap at all on the w/p

thanks for the comments, and the tip for the accel enrichment. i'll knock that out tomorrow.

the water pump wrap is deceiving. there's about 3 inches of wrap from the bottom to the 9 oclock position. i ran it before the heads without issue
