Hey YSIGONZO, theres a bunch of guys over on Turbomustangs.com making that kind of power.....on pump gas. Why are you so doubtful of this combo?
I'm going to call BS on guys making 900rwhp on straight 93 octane pump gas. Turbo or not.

How many teeth on your cog pulleys?

Do you have datalogging of boost / rpm ?

What ignition timing did you run?

it was definitly not on pump gas ,however it was on 110 out of the pump does this qualify:D and I have to say i am very doubtful that any car at or near this power level could acheive it on pump gas, working at a speed shop i am exposed to alot of high horse power cars including a friend of mines twin turbo lt1 ss camaro that makes 866 rwhp on 110,last year he wasnt even able to make a full pull on the dyno with hundred octane let alone 93 or 94 octane.and personally I think that when you have as much money as I do wrapped up in a motor runnig 110 is cheap insurance just my.02 cents.by the way thanks for all the positve feed back on my car:joy:
Thought about meth injection? We installed a kit on a good friend of mine's car running a YSI-trim intercooled, and we ran the same tune with 92 octane + meth as we did with 112 octane, no detonation. Only difference is that the meth made more power because the inlet air temps were much lower. Just something to think about if you like to drive your car on the street a lot.

I was wondering if you could list what boost you were making at 4000, 5000, 6000 and 6500rpm, or if you have the logging saved to a .csv file or some sort of image.

The reason for my question is that I'm only making 12lb @ 5800rpm, and I thought it'd be higher. I suspect that your boost curve is what I was expecting for myself.

Thanks!

750hp,

I have a similar combo but have a smaller crank pulley by one tooth. My boost at 4000 is about 6 lbs at 5000 about 13 lbs and about 19 pounds at 6000. My head unit is a YSi so the numbers may be different. My Throttle body is also much smaller in at 75mm. Good luck!!!

i made 863 rwhp and 946 rwtq my 352 cube a-4 based motor and a 76 mm turbo

9.74 on street tires daily driven.

OMG Danimal 95 that is amazing..

You did all this on straight 93 octane fuel?

Danimal,

I used to have a ton of belt issues. Mine would just shred the belt. I eventually upsized the blower pulley from a 28 tooth to a 30 tooth and didnt lose any power!!! Crazy huh? I figure I was just taxing the blower out. I did lose three pounds of boost but my air charge temp went down like 28 degrees and so I credit that to why I am making the same power. I use the 35 mm belts and have spent probably 600 dollars on them until I finally got it all worked out. I also added a SCH bracket assembly and HPM brace to keep the blower from flexing (mine is mounted pass side). I had an issue with the SCH setup but resolved that myself to save time and havent shredded a belt since. The one time it tore the cogs off the belt it was due to too much tension on the belt. Good luck and YSi cars kick ass!!!

For all those slamming my quote. Read my next post before you start flaming. You have to read it all not just what you want to read. (Blown331fox and twinturbosaleen)
