To fit 10th anniversary wheel is it necessary to change the front spindles? Some sayyes some say no. What is your opinion on the best route for this conversion
I was asking for opinions if you even read my post throughly. IT say some people say yes some say no WHAT IS YOUR OPINION?goduke said:I did spindles. I bet if you search you will find your answer.
Do you want opinions or facts?stangman88 said:WHAT IS YOUR OPINION?
I said exactley that some say yes some say no so apparently i did search around. I was hoping someone someone that has either A) tried something and it didnt work would say how not to do it or B)some one like yourself who can give an example of a conversion they have personally done. Thanks.goduke said:Do you want opinions or facts?
I stated a fact that I did it by swapping spindles. I said nothing about rotors because I do not know if they will work.
What if some one gives their half-assed opinion that rotors will work? You go out and spend $50 on rotors. What happens if they dont work? You are out $50, not the guy that give you a half-assed opinion.
I was pointing you towards the search button so that you could search for MORE facts and make the proper decision.
Next time you ask something I will keep my knowledge and FACTS to myself, you can listen to someone else opinion and hope that they are right.
Just did the conversion on the front last night you are exactly right they worked perfect but i do need a 1/4 to 5/16 space because of the way the wheel/rotor is machined. Thanks for the info though!!!Visable-assassin said:buy the lincoln rotors and some wheel spacers from jegs (they cost like 3 bucks for the 5/16in ones) install the rotors and test for fit. If they dont fit add the spacers till they do and call it a day.
and if your worried about a shorter lug then use longer lugs..you should be able to swap them our unless im smoking something LOL
