Ok, got a 69 Mexican block and was wondering if a late model 5.0 crank will work in it. I know the journals are the same diameter, my concern is the one piece rear main seal over the two piece in the block. I have a spare 5.0 crank. I just don't have an early 302 crank to look at.
I may later stroke the block, but for now, since the stock bores are still in specs, I want to keep it a 302 with a power adder for a project.
