i'v got some stamped steel no-name brand valvecovers on my 302 and i wanted to know if they would fit my stock 351w... another curious question is, can you make the cast aluminum EFI valvecovers work on a carburated motor, if so how? just drill a hole for the breather and use the vaccum nipple on the oil filler neck to draw from with an inline PVC? or cut holes in both valve covers, one for the PVC and one for the breather?

My 302 covers fit my my 351 with AFR 205's, and comp rockers. The efi covers will work on a carbed engine, but running the pcv to a valve cover isnt gonna do anything. Is has to be connected to a vacuum source to be effective. If I were you, id run a breather on the oil filler and cap the plug on the filler neck. And if your using the pcv run it to the carb/air cleaner.

i think you missunderstood... cap the vaccum nipple on the oil filler neck..
drill the opposite valvecover for a breather... drill the other valvecover to accept a pcv valve, and hook the pcv into a T using the brake booster line as a vaccum source from the vaccum nipple on the carb.
