Somehow a dime fell into my cigarette lighter on my 95 Cobra and has caused the lighter and power seat to stop functioning. I have checked all fuses and everything seams fine. Is it maybe a fusable link or relay?

Just a sanity check, are you sure you checked all of the fuse boxes? There is one under the hood and one under the steering wheel.

Otherwise, my seat stopped working and I didn't have a blown fuse. It turned out the switch in the seat got fried. I resoldered some of the connections and now I'm just waiting for it to catch on fire ;). Seriously it works 4.0 now. HTH.

Thanks for the tip. I only checked the fuses under the dash as was unaware of a fuse box in the engine compartment. Where is it located?
Is located right next to the battery, this is a high current fuse and relay box.

Thanks. I'll check it out tomorrow. You mentioned that it "is located right next to the battery, this is a high current fuse and relay box." What is the chance that this is the culprit. Does anyone know specifically which item I should check? Hopefully I will be able to pinpoint it once I dig in.
