if its not too late today when i get home from work,leaving in mins, ill bolt the bellhousing back on so i can hook the starter up and get some video of the car running too. the tranny is currently out, like i said in my description.

here are some pics, still working on uploading the videos, hopefully they will be done by tonight and i will post them here tonight..im letting them upload while im at a family dinner thing tonight, and when i get home, i will post them if they are done.remember, the car is dirty, and havent had time to get it cleaned out or washed or anything. was just workin on it today getting it ready to start, and messing with little crap...the battery was dead, i lost the stupid starter bolts so i had to go get some...and i had a bad battery terminal i had to fix...besides that, its all good...ooo, and i got a socket stuck on the stupid o2 sensor when i was bolting my exhaust up, and i couldnt get it off...

How bad busted is the tranny....can the car be driven without 3rd gear?

 

the tranny is busted busted. third gear teeth are rounded off on both the cluster, and the gears.not driveable till its fixed.besides that, everything in the tranny should be good, it was just rebuilt two months ago with brand new bearings and snychros.as for the 5k offer, i appreciate it, but im not letting the car go with the blower for 5k.im not that desperate anymore, i just got hired to two jobs yesterday, so unless the offers are a little higher, im not so needy to sell it for so cheap, if the price is right, i still will, and am still interested in offers.

THE ONLY THING THE CAR NEEDS IS AN OVERFLOW TANK FOR THE ANTIFREEZE, AND A TRANNY CROSSMEMBER, ON MINE, THE RUBBER GROMMITS ARE BAD, AND THERES A VIBRATION FROM IT. THE CAR RUNS EXCELLENT, BUT NEEDS A TUNE WITHOUT A DOUBT....BLACK SMOKE, LET ME KNOW ASAP, I CANT AFFORD TO SHIP, BUT ITS A DEAL ANYWAYS, MORE THAN 14K INVESTED WITH RECEIPTS IN MOTOR ALONE

Why would you tell someone 6600 (your asking price?) then continue to ask for offers. Maybe I am mis-understanding... Are you looking for someone to offer more?

i told someone 6600, and if they back out, im still at the price, but if people wanna compete, i will let them, but i wont back out if i tell someone its theres for that price, once we settle on it, its gone, but if someone sais, " i might do it for 6600, but give me time to think about it" and someone else sais, well, ill give you 6800 now, then ill go with the 6800, im not doing this whole "wait and see" thing cause everyone talks, and no one backs it up, everytime, ive lost many sales because i waited on someone to "give them time and think about it"

CAR SOLD :-(

car sold to quicktime off of corral, came from texas to get it today, and it was the hardest thing ever to watch it get on the interstate in my rear view mirror, it looked so good, and sounded so good...but come july when i go to coart for my settlement, im thinking a factory five cobra will do just fine....but god im gonna miss her
