I have for sale an extremely clean 1989 Mustang GT 5 speed that just turned over 40k ORIGINAL miles. That is not a typo. The car has been garage kept its entire life and has never seen snow. It was repainted by the previous owner in 2009 the original black color it came with from the Ford dealership. The engine is 100% stock and the car has never been abused, seen track time, or beat on. I bought the car from an older gentleman with the intentions of having a nice weekend driver. I am selling because I only drove the car 1100 miles last year and it sits constantly so its really not worth the $$$ for it to sit and not be enjoyed.
Things I have added in the last 500 miles:
Complete 5 lug conversion done right
Brand New Chrome 17x9 5 lug 03-04 svt cobra rims from American Muscle
SN-95 mustang hubs/spindles with 99-04 dual piston caliper upgrade
Brand new ranger axles and drums in the back
Brand New LX tail lights and assembly from American Muscle
Brand New 14" shorty antenna
Brand New 245/40/17 Hankook Ventus V12 tires in front
Brand New 255/40/17 Sumitomo HTRZ II tires in the rear
Brand New Ford Racing 3.73 ring and pinion in rear
The 5 lug conversion and gears were installed by professional/well known shops and I have the receipts for everything. No expense was spared on this car. The underneath is extremely clean and I would be willing to raise the car up for anybody to take a look at. Car was not undercoated ever so it looks terrific. Runs and drives like it should and transmission shifts flawlessly. I am very picky with my cars and I looked for a fox body for over 2 years until I found this one. It will not disappoint.
Only problems with the car:
The power lumbar on the passenger side seat does not work
The power mirror on the passenger side does not work
There is one tiny ding on the roof of the car (couldnt see unless I pointed it out)
There is one burn mark on the rear driver quarter panel from a buffer left from the previous owner
Please do not waste my time. I do not need to sell this car by any means and am not pressed for cash so no lowball offers will be considered. I know what these cars go for so please don’t call with ridiculous offers. There will be no test drives right now because there is salt on the roads. If you would like to come see the car and start it you are more than welcome but again, do not waste my time. Cash talks and I am not interested in trades. Thank you
