I am trying to figure out what the differences are specifically between the two flywheels, other than one comes on a 302 and one on a 351. Can someone list all of the differences?

The 164 allows for using an 11" clutch. You need a 164-specific bellhousing, block plate, and a starter with the "manual transmission" snout length.

Due to original application, but not to size. Either one is available on the aftermarket with 0, 28, and 50oz balance factors.

Most are 28 oz, but as was stated above they are available in the 50 oz.

That 164t flywheel, a starter, and a block plate (or a modified block plate) will allow you to use a cheap 94+ 3.8 bell housing on your 94/95 5.0 if you are willing to make the car "non-standard"...

But hey, having an 11 inch clutch is an upgrade!!!
