You don't have to do it this way it is just the way I did mine you can do the 3-2 conversion, I myself just don't like the look of it.

This is just the stock PV gutted.

so to gut the valve, you mean just take out the springs and stuff inside right? What did you different in the picture than my stock setup? I am not by my car so I am just wondering.

That is a cobra MC and a stock booster?

Yep I just took everything out Front and back of the PV. Mine might look a little diff. because I have a line lock. Yes this is a 93 cobra MC and stock booster, The pedal is stiff but the car still stops on a dime. And yes I am using a adjustable PV

I dont understand why I wouldnt have to do the 3-2 line conversion I mentioned above with the link to ebay. If I go to a cobra Master cylinder, it only has 2 ports. My car currently has 3. How do I get rid of that extra line if I dont do the 3-2 conversion??

See all these questions you have are starting to confuse you. YES, what these guys have done works. But, if you check into what i advised its tooooo simple man, setup goes in as one unit. Do what you want though bro.......

I understand your side of the situation. I have a complete show car. I am not even going to chance having to beat my strut tower in. It was just painted and it is a rust free beautiful car. I am trying to avoid this

No you don't need that. I will take a pic and post it up to show you how I did mine.
Why dont I need the 3-2 conversion when I am going to use a cobra MC?

That is unsafe. The rear part of the brake combination valve contains the shuttle valve. It is designed to block off the flow of brake fluid if the front brakes develop a major leak, which keeps pressure up to the rear brakes. The proportioning valve is really the valve that is inside the front half of the combination valve. Good luck stopping that car if you get a brake leak.

Will then it never worked on my PV. At one time I did happen to have very bad leak in my passanger side brake line. And my car would not stop. I will have to keep this in mind.

One question then what is the diff between what I did and doing the 3-2 conversion

If you look at the pic I posted the 3rd brake line the one that comes out of the bottom of the stock MC is now coming out of the back of my PV. Wrong or right it works. It is also the way my baer Brake kit had me set it up

So what do I need to do? Leave the stock proportioning valve in tact and buy the 3-2 conversion line kit plus an adjustable prop valve???

I am running the 3-2 conversion, a 94-95 with the original brake booster in my car, and a wilwood adj. prop valve i have had no issues. My prop valve is up on the passenger side of the firewall all of it installed very easily

Did you leave the stock proportioning valve alone and intact? and just added the adjustable one?
