Anybody try out this clutch kit yet? If so thoughts please. I have been eyeballing this c165 kit (11") on the D&D Performance web site for a couple of years now. Not even sure if I need a clutch but the existing one is just about 5 years old. figured while I'm there... might as well.
Not interested in a king cobra or spec. (no offense)
I was considering a 7563-a302 PP with a mcleod 800 series DF disk (10.5")

BTW has anybody changed out the center section of their fidanza alum. FW.
if so did you need to get it balanced after the swap?

here is a pic of my existing set up. Purchased at D&D Performance. It was designed by the owner but for what ever reason it is not available no more. I'm sure he must have sold the design. Any thoughts on if this disk looks like one made by another company now? it a DF Disk (11"). The best set up I have come across for my cobra. would love to score another one.

Zoom makes good clutches.

I've used the King Cobra behind a couple cars making 400+ to the wheels and it held fine.

I'm sure this one will do just fine as well.

Although I dont see you needing a scatter shield and expensive flywheel for a daily driver. If your car is making 500+ to the wheels and sees a lot of track time then yes,.. go ahead and get them. Otherwise for a daily driver it would be over kill and a waste in my opinion.

I am using a Zoom Performance Products HP70308-1 clutch and aluminum flywheel and they are awesome. Bit harder than stock but grabs and holds nicely. Had it now for 3 years for track and street and is holding up nicely.
If I do need another clutch I will get another Zoom for sure. I using it in a 2003 Mach 1

I've used Zoom products in the past. Always with good results. They've been around a long time, and their stuff is first rate.

When my FRPP clutch cashes in its chips, I'm planning to try one of the new Zoom ZVT clutch kits.

Zoom ZVT kits at Jegs

Anybody already running one of these?

I had a King Cobra in and got maybe 20k out of it. I switched to a Zoom stage 3 kit and it's been by far the best I've used.
