what type of gear oil should i use for my rear? 90 weight ok or does it need special type? [8.8 3.73] second where can i get a 130 3g alt? what a 130 3g exactly? or should i ask what kind of car should i look at to get this alt. ?

I'd recommend Mobil 1 75w-90. Used it for years in 8.8 Fords.
For the 3g alt, go to ebay and search for seller: romeo_electrical
Has 3g 130amp and other higher amp kits.
Best kit I've found for the $$$. Used several from this seller on my own and friends Foxes. 130 amp kit includes 3g SMALL case (no bracket modification :joy
and 4 gauge wiring kit w/instructions.
