Well this may seem dumb question to some but I only have one underive pulley that i can tell thats on the crank i'm not sure about the alt but anyways my car keeps eating batteries like crazy so i'm debating whether or not to get a stock crank pulley or higher amp alternator.

does anyone have any ideas?? I have electric fans and a mild system but nothing too jewish or riced-out

any help would be greatly appreciated

btw anyone know the stock diameter of the stock alt pulley i measured the one i had and it was 2 1/4" all the way across if that helps. thanks

Is your car an automatic? I had a set of Race pullies on mine, went through 2 batteries and 3 alt. before I realized the pulley was the problem. Try a street pulley and check your voltage. If its not 14v put the stock alt. pulley on.

Buy an OVERDRIVE alternator pulley from steeda or ASP. It will spin the alt faster to make up for the crank pulley.

WHat electric fan are you running? Some require the 3G alternator because they draw so much.

WHat size pulley is on your alternator? Stock is like 2 1/16". Most underdrive alt pulleys are 2.5". The Overdrive pulley will be something like 1 7/8"
