I finally got my roomie to buy a Mutang...I have a 91 5.0, he got a 97 4.6 GT...whats the best dollar per HP mods we can start with? Gears, K&N, Off-Road x-pipe is what im thinking. Any other suggestions?

i agree, start with gears, offroad h/x pipe, k&n filter, and underdrive pullies. then save for the 99 headswap. my dyno numbers and mods are in my sig. hope this helps.

If you are budget limited but can scrape up about 2900 (and no more), go for an ATI Procharger P600B with 2 core intercooler. It is not the best setup they make but it is cheap and will get you into the 12s with slicks. Nothing more to buy with a 97 and that kit.
