Hey guys how good is the old Mustang BXR Intake. There is one on e-bay

Back in the day the mags all loved 'em, but they where expensive and complicated.. make sure you get EVERYTHING with it if you buy one. The auction there shows the whole deal, and they say it's all there... Could be some hood/STB issues too.. can't remember for sure.. very different look thats for sure.

That intake makes for one trick setup... I've never actually seen one 'til now...

Both of the ones I have seen were orange. It looks like that guy stripped them (well, assuming they CAME orange).

Nevertheless, that is definitely a cool looking intake. Sorta reminds me of the one in my Viper.

thats pretty trick. i dont think that will work on a 94-95 tho because you have to run the distributor like an accessory, and doesnt the 93 style have there accessories possitioned closer to the motor or is it further from the motor.

heres my two cents, way too much modifying to be unique, they never really made that great of power, and as alluded to before, if you wanted to buy one, you had to bend over and take it with no KY...not even a little reach around...nothing..

it must hard as hell to run a cold air intake on that.

but on a side note, if it werent for the radiator and fan it would surely make for a crazy ram air setup in the grill

Be kinda cool for a custom turbo setup. It'd be handy to run the piping like that up front.

that belt dist. drive would get in the way a bit....i dont trust that dist. hanging off a flimsy belt like that personally....

I always thought it was a cool piece. It the different plenum covers for hi torque or hi hp and it just looks flat out bad.... The dist drive can't be that bad, after all pro stock cars run em....
