Went to the track today .Was bracket dat=y but needed to run so I went.First pass lauched at 6500
1.51
7.21 @ 95.01 1/8
11.33 @ 120.20 1/4

Second pass decided that if 6500 was good then 7000 would be better.Hurt more than help.
1.54
7.25 @ 94.91 1/8
11.37 @ 119.25

The third pass I lauched at 6500.
1.51
7.20 @ 95.07 1/8
11.31 @ 119.47

That was all the qualifying passes. So I dailed a 11.29
First braket pass was a
1.51
7.20 @ 94.96
11.31 @ 119.55 and a win on that round

Second happened to be last round at went a
1.53
7.23 @ 94.77
11.35 @ 119.09 And a win on that too.Got a trophy.

Ill try and post the timeslips and maybe even a video. The timer lights was showing 11.90's in stead of 30's.But I have the timeslips.

Yep it was at edgewater.I wanted to race today and Tristate isnt even open yet.I figured that if I could get my 3 time runs in and first round before I red lighted/brokeout I would be good. But I ended up winning the class.

Wow, consistent as heck.

 :) :)

Good Grief!!! Is that smokin' or what!!??? That is really consistent for a stick car. It is a stick, right? Are you launching off an MSD rev limiter? I know with my car it is very easy for the rpm's to surge back and forth making consistent launch rpm's difficult. How about listing your mods - what kind of power adder do you have?

By the way, congratulations! We like it!!

Mikey...I think Ill keep my 3'' exaust and my chambered mufflers

JohnnyReb...no msd here.I did notice it says pretty much at whatever rpm I want now since the aluminum flywheel was put in.Its a G-force t-5 the hylical syncro version.I drove the car there too 45 miles each way.The power adder is none. The longblock is the way it came from the factory.I just modded the intake.
Do a search under my name and you find the mods and weight reducion there. Its too long to type out.I might do it later.

I had two MSD boxes and tach adpaters like 2-3 years ago.Biggest pieces of crap ive ever seen.Took them off and never had a problem since.

I am amazed by how fast your car is. I think I will have to send you a pm about having you do my intake.

I am assuming you have removed both bumper supports as well as the heater box and all other unnecessary crap behind the dash. I have been seriosly contemplating removing my heater box and controls from behind the dash because the my heater doesn't work anyway because of a bad heater core. Does anyone know how much weight can be saved by removing all this crap?

RunninRadar...the car isnt gutted. If you look inside the car it has everything but a rear seat which is now a sheet of aluminum, cage and racing seats. The rest looks like it did from the factory. It dont have ac.

black1997cobra it still has the heater box.The dash has never been out of the car.

John H I changed back to a 456 last year.
