Don't forget caster/camber plates and a bumpsteer kit if you plan on lowering your car close to 2 inches. 1 1/2 inches isn't too bad but at 2 inches the whole geometry of your suspension starts to get screwed up unless you do a few more things to it to compensate. Go to
www.steeda.com and read all the info they have on suspensions and necessary alterations. Basically the center line of you suspension becomes all messed up and you have to add other parts to bring the system back up to a tolerable level to properly align the front end. The caster/camber kits will allow you to do this. Overall height of car will not change but the suspension geometry will be correct. Without some compensation, tires will wear out very quickly. Many people blame the socalled "worthless tires" when it is their suspension that forces the tire to wear out prematurely. Steeda even makes oversized ball joints to help compensate for drastically lowered cars. Check it out. I have Steeda's sport springs and Tokico blue shocks with KYB quads on my '98 GT convertible. It sits low and handles like a dream. I could align their set-up without making additional additions to the suspension but plan on shortly adding the caster/camber plates for better overall control. Good luck!
