Anyone have any pic's of their Paxton air to air intercooler installed on a 96-98 Cobra with a Vortech?

Thanks for the post. Sorry to snoop but those pic's from Europe are simply amazing (excluding the one with your tongue stuck out). :)

HAHA, thanks. Those pictures were taken in Slovenia (small country next to Italy, Croatia, and Germany) I'm the first generation born here and take every oppurtunity to go back there and ski!

I wonder how many other people found those pics instead of my blower pics.

Thats my old intercooler on viper's car. Its an awesome piece and works very well.

I have never had any insterest in visit Europe but after seeing those pics I want to now.
Thanks for the pic's guys. I just finished installing my Paxton Air/Air. That is a piece of engineering art. It fit perfect even with my S-Trim. I think I need another bypass valve though. The bucks a bit and makes a funny noise when I shift gears. I figured I would so I already had one on order.

Post some pics of your set up. You should only need one bypass if it's set up right. I know Brent (32VHemiJr) ran two, I'm sure he'll chime in if you really want to go double.

like a fluttering sound when you let off the gas?

I don't really notice any difference. The car ran the same temp. regardless of the situation. I did switch to a 180 tstat to keep the car slightly cooler.

Mine ran no hotter. 2 bypasses makes driveability far better. One before the IC and one after. The paxton IC kit has a bung on one of the tubes so you can do this. Each bypass must have its own separate vacuum source, and both must have their own bypass exhaust line going to 2 separate bungs on the intake tube. No other way will work correctly.

Mine runs a little warmer. Thanks for the advice on the 2 bypasses 32VHEMIJR. I still had issue after installing the 2nd bypass but it was because I had the exits joined. I added another bypass exhaust to my power pipe and it drives perfect now. I seem to have lost a lot of boost. I am not sure if the belt is slipping or if I have a leak. I was seeing 15psi before and now I am lucky if I get 11psi. I will search for the problem tomorrow.

If you're talking about losing boost after the intercooler install a 2-3psi lose is normal.

Well we'll see what is makes for power. It feels very very strong now. Just upgraded to an 11" clutch as my King Cobra melted down after a few power shifts......
