This is a custom made Rear seat delete, will fit any 94-04 Coupes. The back portion does not fold down. the part where the seats are folds up. It is made out of 3/8" Plywood, the unit itself weights aprox 12lbs. It takes 30 lbs off the car from the stock leather back seats. There is another 5lbs lost if you take out all the seat belts and retractors.

Do you make any out of 1/4" plywood or only 3/8? If so, any clue on the weight difference between the 1/4? and the 3/8" Oh, and also do these kits come with the necessary hardware you need to install them? Thanks.

sorry it took so long to get back to you, i have been out of town, (ill send a PM to you also)

I can make them out of 1/4 plywood instead of 3/8s if you want. the weight differnt would be aprox 3lbs. (just a guess, i havent made one out of 1/4 inch) and they do come with everything needed to install. they are all pre-assembled also. installs with 2 bolts on the bottom, and 3 screws ontop (to hold the headrest to the back of the back piece.

I just recieved my kit from the above seller a few days ago. The kit arrived safe. Kit was nice and well contructed, and matched my interior very well. Install was simple and straight forward. For the price of $100 it was worth not having to collect the parts and build it myself. I think the seller told me it was also available at www.coolblueperformance.com now or something like that too. Anyway, I am happy overall with my purchase and I can get some pics if anyone wanted to see it in my 2002gt.

Later yall,
Mike
