How did you guys raise the rev-limiter? I'm having the owner/designer/program writer of the Tweecer try to tune my car on the 14th and was hoping he could raise it to 6500 RPM.

i thought 6500 is the stock limit? i might be wrong but i beleive thats what mine is. that was before the chip, not sure if it is different after the chip

Stock limit = 6250.

You can raise limit via chip and/or reburning the EEC/PCM. Or if you use TwEECer/EECTuner I think you can raise it too.

Yeah, you can do anything with a Tweecer.

I have turned off the traction control, changed the fan temps, fuel map, spark map, speedo cal for my 4.10s, turn off the cat_temp_control, shift retard, tire revs per mile, ect. I'm still learning.

Hypertech Power Programmer III, Rev limiter set at 6400.

Turned off traction control? Why not just push the button?

What he may have done is have the traction control default to off instead of the opposite. I have to push that damn button everytime I start my car b/c I rarely run with the traction control on. I'd much rather have it default to off and turn it on if I want to.

TexasDevilDog: Did you do the tuning yourself? Right now I can't get the Tweecer to work on my 02. I am having Mike Glover come work on my car on the 14th, so I hope he can figure something out. If they can't, I'm going with a dyno tune from Houston Performance, a JMS Chip, or a 00-01 EEC if it will work.

If he can't do it, will a 00-01 EEC work in my 02 GT. I heard that a 99 won't work.
