I like the main hoop. looks about as tucked as physically possible. lol
Its tucked and tight as possible. Even more so then it looks cuz its only held in place with a jack and a scrap wood. Lol. Itll be tight enough to hold paper when it gets lifted to its final resting place.

Do you have any pics of how you made that anti roll bar?
Its a mark williams anti roll bar kit with a few modifications. You can see it below unassembled with the splines welded on.

On another note. I finished the rear control arms yesterday too. Ready for clear powder coat.

Finished up the lower rear control arms and sent them and the anti roll bar off to powder coat for clear. Turned out pretty trick!

Bead spacing got a little wild on the cover pass but sure looks nice!

Got the floor bars back under the car and the main hoop trimmed to fit. Nice and tight. Put some businesses cards in there to show it's nice and snug. Lol

Next up was the a-pillar and dash bars. Used the tubing roller to match the interior shape better then just bending alone. This is the dash bar.

Tough to see bit the dash bar fits nicely.

A pillar bars rolled and bent. Nice and tight!

Zero gap.

photobucket is all messed up. What sort of progress did you make this past week?
Man I'm so pissed about the photobucket deal. Means I have to go back and edit every post. Hundreds of photos useless. I made some progress. Just gotta find a photo hosting site worth a darn.

Seriously considering building my own k member. Not to impressed with the design or construction of this BMR k member. Control arm design is cheezy, welds are junk, and it's heavy.
This is a great build, as I was able to see some pics over on a different forum. Photobucket is ruining the image hosting - so none of these are showing up for me unfortunately.

That being said, I did see the comment and it had me curious. I have never ever had someone say that about our K-Members since 2005 when we started offering them. Are they at your level of workmanship, absolutely not - they are meant for the average guy at an average price. At your level, which we are more than capable of...the cost on that K-Member would go up significantly and that is not our cup of tea. When we decide to build a "race" part that is tig-welded from Docol or CM, etc...I am sure it would be something you would like. :wink2:

So on that note - after digging into this to find the picture you posted, that is NOT a BMR K-Member that you posted a picture of.

Just wanted to clear that up.

Good luck on the build, it's an impressive one!

I wondered about that myself. I have a BMR K-member and control arms on my 08' Bullitt and thought it was built quite well. It has been on the car for a few years now with zero issues. Had the front end re-aligned after the install and it is still spot on.
