Foxbody 5spd pedal swap

I have an 89 2.3 Mustang with a bad AOD. I have an 86 Turbocoupe with a good 5spd. (parts car) I know everything from the block back will swap, but what about the pedal assembly? Can I use the Tbird assembly in the Mustang? Would I need a Mustang clutch cable or is it the same as the Tbird?
