Im trying to gather a group of automatic 5.0 dyno number bone stock. Also post if you would transmission and dyno used. We never baselined our shop 2011 before the mods and would like to see what other people are making.

If anyone would care to re-post this on any other board you might be on, that would be awesome.

Give it a week. I'm sure you'll get atleast two. This board moves like a snail under mud.

Right, I agree and since I didnt baseline my car, I just have been trying to figure out what exactly people are making in stock form. You can see a ton of posts with stock 6sp cars just really dont see any auto cars. Just trying to gather a some section of data so we can show exactly what we are picking up on low boost. I generally dont get too involved on dyno numbers but it seems like thats the direction our one thread is going and I just have to go through the battle.

It's hard to dyno a stock auto and get meaningful information. There is no way to lock the convertor or lock the trans in gear. That's why I didnt dyno mine stock.
This can't be done with a tuner? Odd that I can do this with my '94 Lightning, but you can't on a brand new car

Mine dyno'd @ 336(Low 70's temp 11/24/10) with trans locked in 4th(only change in tune), had 68 miles on it at the time. Have seen other Auto 11's and 12's on same dyno anywhere from 341(yea mine sucked) to 352. But as you can see from the 16hp spread(same dyno different cars, temps, ect), it'll be difficult at best to get an "added ___ power" without a baseline. Oh yea was a Dynojet. I know "that doesn't help". Just get it finished and out and about, get some track times and people can decide from those.

Right I understand I'm basically just trying to gather a sample of data to just get a range. That way I can really have a pretty good idea +/- maybe 10rwhp of what we are picking up with the setup. What torque did it put down?

When it was stock, I didnt have a tuner :) Maybe the dyno shop could have done it themselves.

I thought about having the shop baseline the car before the blower, but that would have added another hundred bucks and it didnt matter that much for me to know.

Almost sure mine was 326rwtq. I do remember the 352rwhp one had 338 rwtq on it.
