I am running the Z303 cam in a 306 with ported 289 heads with flat top pistons, performer intake, and 600 holley carb. Cam does excellent with this combo. Car is very streetable with good mid to upper rpm power with suprising torque down low.
4 years ago I was running the x and I switched to the z for about 2 months and three trips to the track before I switched back, I ran .2 tenths faster with the x and the motor just liked it better.
I am running the Z303 cam in a 5 speed car with 3.55 gears. I haven't had it to the track any, it is just a car I drive around and goof off with. I had another Z cam in the cam in my signature and it worked really well. That car went 11.4's on nitrous. I actually like the Z cam better than the comp that is in my other car.
