I’m looking at swiping a T56 Magnum into my 01. the quotes I has received is 6k for new transmission, clutch, custom aluminum drive shaft, clutch, bell housing, fluid, and shipping. Is it worth the the cost?

Is it a clean low mile car? Do you have a lot of money/work into it already? Do you have or are you planning on a built motor+blower?

if so I say do it. You also are going to want a set of 4.10s or 3.73 because first gear is a lot taller than the T45/3650

Yes 34000 miles 01 Saleen I have added some power to the tune of 450rwtq and 414rwhp with 410 gears. I can’t really use 1st now I always take off in 2nd. I’m looking to start a motor build to drop in it. The magnum I was looking at is 266 1st gear and .50 6th gear.

I have the 2.66 1st with 4.10, but I have the .80:.63 5th and 6th

1st goes to 48mph for me (7000rpm) so it's pretty tall and can be tricky to launch it without bogging
