The gas tank on my 95 GT was dented in when i got it, it doesn't leak, but it's pretty big dent. I am getting a sumped tank for my 93 LX, so was wondering if the tanks are interchangeable? Anybody know or ever try this? I'm thinking maybe the fill tube is different, but that should be it.

Let me know people! Thanks!

I've never had the two side by side but I can add this. I am running the fuel pump out of my 94 cobra in my 89 GT--it fit perfect. I always thought the tanks were identical but I could be wrong.

yes, i know the pumps would be the same. the concern i have is using the actual tank itself.
