I've been looking all over but can only find leather. I just want the stock fabric. Any ideas? Thanks============

All I've seen is vinyl and leather for the 87-93 cars. We have an upholstry shop locally that is basically a warehouse for all the individual shops around here. They have some of my cloth, so I bought 2 yards for $100 so I'd have some when my seats really need it. Now all I have to do is pay for the labor to have them recovered. If you don't find anything locally or from a Mustang supplier, I can get you their number and maybe they can help you out.

It's up to him whether or not he wants to buy anything, and I don't see how it's your business. If he hasn't scammed anyone, there's no harm in inquiring as to asking price, etc. Give the guy a break, maybe he just likes to ask 1000 questions before dropping his hard earned cash, I do the same thing.

Unless it's torn or extremely stained, consider dying it. I have a red interior. 89 also. The rear seat was in good condition but faded. Especially the seat back tops from the sun through the hatch. Pep Boys and elsewhere sell spray fabric dye. Dark red. It worked great! Nobody sits back there so I cannot comment if it wears off at all. Also it made the surface a bit hard. I read that brushing it will help. Mine softened up on it's own. You may want to consider do the fronts to. The back will now look better and the spray will tone down the faint blue stripe in the pattern. That was better for me. I have 95 seats in front. They don't have any blue.

this post went to **** in a hurry.

Look through your back issues of MM & FF. They sell upholstery kits for the foxes.

Hmm, going through my mag, texasmustang.com sells the kits for $419,

cloth wise, it says 84-86. Might be worth a call, maybe they also have the 87 ups.

I was just flipping through the new issue of 5.0 magazine and saw that Mustangs Unlimited had the 87-93 cloth seat covers for $420 or so. The rear seat was $200 I think. It was the 1st time I had ever seen it offered for 87-93 in cloth. For those prices, you could spend $200 more and get the leather if you so desire.

I would love to buy new covers for mine but I will not pay $400+ for them for sure.
