Is it on the top of the transmission towards the back of it? If not, what is that line for?

P paul351w · Registered Joined Feb 1, 2000 · 1,436 Posts #2 • Jan 11, 2003 The vacuum line runs the shift modulator (not 100% sure thats what its called) that controlls the shiftpoints under cruise conditions. The modulator is on the bottom rear passenger side of the tranny right behind the trans pan.
