Factory block, stroker, daily driver, racer, carb, efi, auto, manual??????????????

What you wanting to do with it?

Pickup a 5.0 or MMFF magazine and start studying the ads and look up their websites. Call some of them, they will be more than willing to talk to you and send you a quote. Do your homework...it will payoff in the longrun...some even have free shipping. When you have it narrowed down, post back asking those who have one of those blocks to email you and really tell you about their experience.


I am looking (331 or 393 stroker, EFI, daily driver, N/A) and have it narrowed to DSS or Keith Craft, but those are relatively close to me and I want to go to their shop when I pick it up. Maybe even visit before I order one.

I would also say go with dss or keith craft. I had a pro 306 bullet in my last car and i have no complaints about the short block at all. It came with a mean main girdle :) I would also say keep your eyes open and look around at all the ads etc etc. good luck with the new motor.
