I am going to be measuring the proper pushrod length with a TFS pushrod length checker as I assemble my engine this weekend. I already have a TFS stage I cam, and Twisted Wedge heads, and I already have Trick Flow 6.7" pushrods. My question is, how far off can the pushrod be from the optimum length? Like, what if I measured, and a 6.65" or 6.60" was what I needed? How much of a cushion do I have?

Thanks, Brad.

Well, I just checked piston to valve and pushrod length on my Victor JR heads with 6.4 vs. 6.25 and they produced an almost identical wear pattern on the valve tip, so I would say that you probably have a fair amount of leeway with pusrod length.
