Going to be purchasing 15x3.5 (4.5" tire) and 15x10 (8" tire) wheels for the car.
It's a '92 fox.
I really want them to look right, not stuck out in the wind, and not tucked way inside the fender.
Any help would be appreciated on backspace, and, what the heck, share photos.
Even better, for those who enjoy such things, any wheel suggestions while keeping factory 4 lug?
Thanks

8" tire on a 10" wheel prolly isn't gonna work too well. If you want 15x10 go with a 6.5" BS (even with the lip) or 15x8 with 5.5" BS (tucked in a little). You can even find a 15x8 with a 4.5" BS if you want a smaller tire with the rim even with the lip.

what about the front, I have convo pros now that stick out and it looks really bad... what is the proper backspace for 15x4 fronts?

thanks.
I went with 15x8 with 5.5", thanks for the help
fronts, different story;
I ordered 15x3.5 with 1.375" rear spacing, because that is what Jegs listed as proper Weld Draglite for 89-93 Fox.
They also have a 15x4 wheel with 1.875" rear spacing...
I don't know what to make of it, but will test fit the fronts before mounting the tires.

For every 1 inch wheel width change, change the BS 1/2 inch the same way (up or down).

7"=5 BS so 3" would be 3" BS to keep CENTERED. Frankly, I would push narrow rims out (less BS) so the outside wall is even with the rear tire outside wall. So you will probably be OK with a 1-1.5" BS on a skinny.

This is to keep CENTERED:

7" width - 5" backspace
8" width 5.5" backspace
8.5 width 5.75 backspace
9" width 6" backspace
9.5” width 6.25” backspace
10" width 6.5" backspace
10.5” width 6.75” backspace
