take a socket and remove the factory schrader valve, the whole assembly, not just the needle part. the autometer fitting will take it's place. Be sure to use a teflon paste sealer when you put the fitting in.
i was just doing a tune up on a 99 f150 and was looking at the schrader valve and saw the the other part came out. looked at the stang and its the same. stupid me. i didnt even look at that part. i thought the core just came out.
