I changed my TB the other day, and i noticed that the TB was dirty oily, and the intake plenum had a good layer of film coating the whole inside of it. I wiped it out, but can't imagine how dirty the rest of my intake is.

Any advice or comments. Is this normal? Car has 20k miles.

I had that problem when I changed my tb, but I am supercharged. I guess that tube running from the drivers side vavle cover to the intake tube sucks oil on an N/A car too.

Just a thought, and a small one at that, but I noticed the k and n in your signature, what are the chances the oil from the filter has dirtied your tb and plenum. Granted, when I read your thread, it sounds like a good amount of oil, but if you have recently cleaned and re-oiled your filter, it could be. Just a small, small, thought.

I had oil in my T/B to MAF tubing after i swapped to the bullit intake. I put 2 breathers on the car and it cleared the problem up. It's pulling oil from the crank case.
